Playing
padel.
Do I need to know how to play padel?
No. Most people who walk in have never played. Book the beginner introduction, or come to a Monday or Wednesday social where mixed abilities are the whole point. The rules take about five minutes.
How many people do I need?
Four to fill a court. If you have fewer, come to a social night and we will make up the numbers.
Can I play if I don’t have three other people?
Yes. Monday and Wednesday, 8pm to 10pm, we put people into games. Turn up on your own: plenty of people do, and it is the fastest way to end up with a regular four.
Is padel hard to learn?
It is one of the easiest racket sports to start and one of the harder ones to master. Most people have a genuine rally in their first ten minutes.
Booking
and kit.
Can I rent a racket?
Yes. Rackets are available for both padel and pickleball: padel rackets are RM30 per racket per hour, and pickleball rackets are RM10 per racket per hour. Bring trainers with a clean, non-marking sole and that is genuinely it.
How about balls?
Balls are for sale: padel balls are RM40 per pack of 3, and pickleball balls are RM7 per ball.
How long is a booking?
A booking is a minimum of one hour, with increments of 30 minutes.
Can I cancel?
Cancellation terms are shown at the point of booking.
What happens if it rains?
Three of the four padel courts are covered, so play continues in most weather. If it rains on an open court, you can switch to a covered padel court or reschedule: see the next two answers.
Can I change to a covered padel court?
Yes, if a covered padel court is available at that time. If the original booking was for pickleball, a top-up will be required.
Can I reschedule?
In case of rain, for hourly bookings of open courts:
– If less than half an hour was used, the full hour can be rescheduled.
– If more than half an hour was used, the booking is forfeited.
Rescheduling rules:
– Unless advised by the club, the booker should check in at the club to request a rescheduling. Otherwise, it is considered a no-show.
– An hourly booking can only be rescheduled once and within one week from the initial booking.
– Rescheduling can be requested at the club or via WhatsApp, providing the booking number.
Padel coaching
questions.
Can I book coaching?
Private, pairs and group sessions are all available, plus a 60-minute first-racket introduction. Book a court and add coaching, or message us and we will match you to a coach.
I have literally never played. Is that a problem?
It is the most common starting point. First racket is built for exactly this, and rackets are provided.
Can I book a coach for four of us?
Yes. Four players and one coach is the standard group session, and it is the best value per head.
Do I need my own racket?
No. Ask the coach before you buy one. Most people choose the wrong racket in their first month.
Before your
first class.
Do I need to bring a mat?
No. Mats are provided. Bring water and something you can move in.
Are the classes outdoors?
The studio is covered, and yoga moves into the open air when the weather allows. In a downpour everything runs under cover.
I have never done pilates. Will I be lost?
No. Classes are mixed-ability and small enough that the coach can correct people individually. Tell them at the desk that it is your first one.
Can I do a class and then play?
Plenty of people do. Book the class and the court separately, leave a gap for coffee, and use the same changing rooms for both.
Hosting
a group.
Can I organise a corporate event?
Yes, from a single team of eight to a full venue takeover. We handle the format, the scoring and the food. Send an enquiry and you will get a reply the same day.
Can you run a private class for a group?
Yes, for a team, a birthday or a hen party. It runs through the events team rather than the class booking.
Getting
here.
Are there showers and changing rooms?
Yes, on site. Play at six and be somewhere else by eight.
Where do I park, and how do I find the rooftop?
Park in Wisma Cosway, take the lift to Level 3 and follow the signs out to the roof. Grab drivers should drop at the main Jalan Raja Chulan entrance.
